ConSuite

• Gophers needed throughout convention: Monitor the status of snacks, sodas, and any and all food or beverage items to make sure they are properly refilled, replenished, and refreshed; assisting Chicago Force in any decorating issues that need to be addressed; Participating in setting up special presentations offered by the con suite. The primary goal will be to attend to the general comfort of all con attendees while they're guests in the con suite.

Dealers

• Gophers needed throughout convention, 1 hour before opening - Closing hours for dealers: Badger at the double doors at the entrance to the art show/dealers room corridor.
• Two gophers needed Sunday 3 PM - 5 PM: Assist with load out; Holding doors for dealers who are packing up.

Films

• One gopher needed Thursday 5pm - 10pm: Monitor the film room.
• One gopher needed Saturday 9:45pm to 3:45am: Assist film chair setting up for the dive in; Badge Dive In attendees; Monitor pool area.

Job Requirements: All applicants must be over the age of 18 due to job requirement of moving large, bulky, unstable objects such as large screens. Time flexibility is also a must.

Green Room

• Volunteer bakers: Do you have a tasty receipt? Share your culinary talents with our GoHs, program participants and hardworking ConCom. Donations may be delivered to the Green Room. We would prefer disposable containers with lids, but all contributions will be greatly appreciated. Labeled containers will be cared for but may not be returned clean. Please provide a list of ingredients. Please respond to greenroom@capricon.org.
• Green Room Liaisons: Have food service experience or just like to entertain? The Green Room need volunteers to help take care of our GoHs, program participants, and ConCom. Green Room Liaisons greet visitors and help keep the buffet stocked with tasty food and beverages. Three and four hour shifts are available. Flexible times and shifts. Please respond to greenroom@capricon.org.

Registration

• Ten gophers needed Wednesday, time TBA: Prepare participant packets: collate informational brochures and handouts (including program books -- get a peek at yours early!), stuff into manila envelopes, and label envelopes and badges. Pizza and drinks will be provided. Hours count double! Requires a two hour commitment.
• Two to Four gophers per 2 hour shift needed Thursday-Saturday during reg hours Check IDs, locate participant's packet (arranged alphabetically), and have participant sign for packet. Provides general informational and promotional service. You'll get to see everyone as they check in, including many illustrious personages.
• Two to Four gophers per 2 hour shift needed Thursday-Saturday during reg hours Oversee the filling out of registration forms; collect payment; possible database entry (one per shift); printing and assembling of badges; packet handout; Provides general informational and promotional service, especially to first-time con goers.
• One gopher needed Sunday, 1-3 hours after Closing Ceremonies Oversee the filling out of registration forms; collect payment; write out receipts for people who wish to preregister for Capricon XXV. Hours count double!

Reg Chair Note: The head of registration really likes to bake, and homemade cookies or pastry may appear at any time for registration volunteers.

Webmaster Note: The baked goods are quite yummy!
