Michael "Moonwulf" Longcor PDF Print

Michael Longcor at Capricon 26, Courtesy of Chaz Boston Baden, www.boston-baden.comMichael Longcor , also known as Moonwulf, has agreed to attend Capricon 28.

Despite being some years removed from his reign as king of the Middle Kingdom in the SCA, is still quite capable of buckling any necessary swash.  Between that and his long membership in the Dorsai Irregulars and their auxiliary, the Klingon Diplomatic Corps, he has accumulated enough stories – mostly true! – to keep listeners entertained for hours.  And as our musical guest, it’s no surprise that some of those stories have found their way into songs, some of which you may hear this weekend.

But it’s pirates we’re here to hear about and Michael’s our go-to guy with an entire album of piratical songs under his belt and another, I hear, on the way.  We’ll be hearing plenty about pirates from him this weekend, along with an assortment of songs from history, from fantasy, from science fiction, and some that are simply hard to describe until you hear them.  And it’s all great fun, as Michael’s a tremendous performer with a fine baritone voice and a hand for folk guitar.  You’ll want to be sure to catch his concert and to catch up with him later in the open filk!
