Description: Errol Flynn, Olivia de Havilland, Basil Rathbone
Directed by Michael Curtiz - Rated NR
The quintessential swashbuckler adventure. CAPTAIN BLOOD is best remembered today as Errol Flynn's springboard to stardom. At just 26 at the time, Errol Flynns only previous role was as a corpse in a Perry Mason B-movie, but his sexual conquests and social life were already becoming legendary. The Warners studio decided to take a chance on the untested actor in the lead. By the end of the hugely favorable test screenings, Warners knew it had a bona-fide sex symbol. CAPTAIN BLOOD may lack the opulence of THE ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD and the pure adventure value of THE SEA HAWK, but without this pirate saga, and the dynamic star it introduced, the 'Golden Age' of Hollywood may never have seen these subsequent classics reach the screen. CAPTAIN BLOOD has earned a place in film history that cannot be underrated.

What's needed to have the fastest ship, to leap between ships without getting killed (even if no one was trying to kill you at the time), to fight well on a moving deck, to not only navigate the high seas, but to sneak around in shallow waters without getting caught or stranded, to negotiate ransoms--and to collect them without being beheaded, etc.? Still, pirate life isn't all that it's cracked up to be. For Kirk, it's a life of failure. For Flint, one without reward. That is until they stumble across a long lost treasure map that has the power to not only fulfill their wildest pirate dreams but curse them as well. This is a wonderful independent film that needs to be shown to a larger audience.

In this third installment of the Spider-Man trilogy, Peter Parker has finally managed to strike a balance between his devotion to M.J. and his duties as a superhero. When his suit suddenly turns black and enhances his power it brings out a vengeful side that he must struggle to control while battling two of the most feared villains yet, Sandman and Venom. This is the darkest, the most action-packed, and by far the funniest Spider-Man yet. More villains, more twists and more angst that the rest..... and of course Dark Spidey. The CGI and action sequences live up to and exceed the previous movies and provide a reason to see this again on the big screen.

An 80s Cult classic! Ice Pirates is the funniest sci-fi spoof, and one of the best sci-fi comedies ever made. This movie clearly has a small budget, looks cheap, and isn't very serious. Fortunately, that is exactly what the filmmakers were going for!
Ice Pirates has a band of space pirates that go after, you guessed it, ice and is the illegitimate love child of Star Wars and Animal House. The jokes, both verbal and physical, range from the hackneyed to the truly brilliant - and both will have you rolling on the floor. It's an hour-and-a-half of pure unadulterated fun.

Directed by Mel Damski - Rated PG
This film is a comedic romp featuring an A List of classic comedians and many of the cast from Monty Python. It is a farce about a pirate and his treasure with his former first mate and the British Empire seeking to relieve him of it. This film takes a more pirate-oriented look at the Treasure Island tale and wantonly stumbles from scene to scene without ever apologizing for itself. It is laugh out loud funny in parts and just plain good fun in all the others. This is brilliantly bad and it's well aware of the fact. It's low-down, dirty, well-written nonsense of the highest caliber. See it!
